Johnny Cash played Martin Guitars (one being his iconic black one) with Martin Bronze strings. He was also known to play the harmonica in Orange Blossom Special.

Luther Perkins played the Fender Esquire, Jazzmaster, and Jaguar. He used mostly Fender gear included an amp with a built in super reverb and a delay stomp box. The strings were flat wound.
Marshall Grant
Marshall played the bass fiddle as well as the electric bass famously heard in Johnny Cash's "At Folsom Prison" album.
W.S. Fluke Holland
Holland had a basic drum set mainly playing the snare drum with a "train-like" trait to it. Holland was also heard in the recording of Blue Suede Shoes.
